In degasifier units, free CO2 gases are removed. Input water that enters the degasifier column is lowered by gravity and collected at the degasifier tank. The plastic filling media in the column allows better contact of the input water with air. At the same time, air is fed from the opposite direction of the water flow with a fan (from the bottom part of the column) . As a result of the mass transfer between air and water, the removal of CO2 gases in acid form is realized.
